It does not take a long time to learn.

And it can enrich your own life and the lives of those you love.

Where Did It All Start ?

Reiki, is a relatively new form of healing in the West.

Although the concept of healing has been with man for a long long time, the system which is called Reiki was rediscovered in the late 1800s by Dr. Mikao Usui.

Since then Reiki has become one of the fastest growing “natural therapies” or “spiritual healing methods” of our age.

In the early 1900s there were only a handful of Reiki masters and practitioners in the entire world.

Since then, which is still less than 100 years, Reiki has spread rapidly through the western world.

Anyone wanting to find out about Reiki today, to become a Reiki Master or receive Reiki Healing only has to look in their local phone book or do a search on the web and they will soon find someone who can offer them these services.

In our current age there is a growing hunger for a spiritual connection in life and Reiki can and has fulfilled that for many people.

It would be impossible to put a figure on the number of people using Reiki as the numbers are growing all of the time and there is no Global organization keeping track.

Reiki has spread quite naturally, someone discovers it, uses it, finds it to be good, they tell another person and another and this is how Reiki has spread.

Reiki Continues To Grow.

Until a short time ago, to become a Reiki Master one had to go to another Reiki Master and go through a series of three courses.

Reiki 1, Reiki 2 and then Reiki Master. But as more people have become attuned to Reiki, more ways of attuning others have also been developed and perfected.

Distance healing and distance attunements have been with us for a long time. With Reiki it is possible to "send" healing and attunements to someone in a different room, town, Country or Continent. Because Reiki is a spiritual force it transcends the physical barriers of time and space.

Fantastic breakthroughs like this go to help the spread and use of Reiki around the world and to make it more accessible to everyone.

Reiki was never meant to be practiced by “the chosen few”.

At the very heart of Reiki is the fact that unlimited universal healing force is all around us and within all of us all of the time, it is no exclusive club. Everyone is welcome.

With the Internet it is even easier todat to attune to Reiki than it has ever been.

Through combining the miracle of distance healing, distance attunements and the power of a live webcast it is now possible to attune to all levels of Reiki in the comfort of your own home and join a growing community of Reiki masters online.
