The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words -

"rei," meaning "Universal Spirit,"

"ki," Meaning "life force energy."

So we have a basic definition of Reiki as:

Reiki Healing.

Reiki is mainly used and known as a form of "spiritual" or "hands on" of healing. Reiki Healing can and is used form any common complaints, and although Reiki can be very effective in treating the physical symptoms of the body, it also at the same time addresses the underlying causes.

Reiki is very good for treating stress, and other emotional problems.

It is none invasive, uses no drugs or medicines, is totally safe and millions of people all around the would use it every day to maintain vigour and vitality.

A Reiki healing session generally lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, and afterwards the recipient is generally very relaxed, calm and serine.

Reiki is actually a very spiritual experience and although working on the body and the mind, it is the spirit, the life force which is actually doing the healing.

The only really effective remedy that we have is the unleashing of the human spirit, life.

That is all that that Reiki does or can do.

Reiki Training.

It is very easy to become a Reiki Healer Reiki is very accessible and available to anyone who has a desire to help themselves and others.

Unlike conventional training courses, with Reiki you are "attuned" to Reiki by a Reiki Master

There are three levels of Reiki Attunement and at each level you will learn a little more about Reiki and increase your ability to deliver Reiki Healing through the successive attunements.

The Spiritual Link.

Although spiritual in nature and practice, Reiki is not a religion.

The very fact of Reiki acknowledges the spiritual essence of man, but one is free to follow their own religion as Reiki is spiritual practise and not a religious one.

As well as a form of healing, Reiki can also be used to enhance ones own spiritual awareness.
